Speedometer dial of HEIZ (starting from 59 Euro), against a product of a competitor ( prices vary between 25 and 49 Euro).
The photos for this we provided ourselves. The texts are likewise written from us in this test. We are as neutral as possible been when this evaluation.
White dial with red numbers and red transillumination of HEIZ. The solid plastic dial is according to our data with red transillumination technology.
White dial with black numbers of company x price 25 euro. The dial is loud indicated the supplier a substantial speedometer dial as transillumination.
The dials of HEIZ are from 0,8mm flexible plastic, which very evenly distributes the light in the dial by its transparent characteristic. With one locks at already recognize before a source of light can, which only the numbers analyze bang-red.
The dials of the other offerer consist actually of a sheet paper printed on and bilaterally in foil in-laminated. Altogether approx 0,4mm with one looks at the thickness the paper structure clear before a source of light sees. The word transillumination technology is apparent interpretation think.
The HEIZ-dials left themselves, as also the pointers, after the description to perfectly exchange.Above allwas important to get a specification to the adjustment of the pointers and like it best works to consider the pre-loading of the pointers. All punching out are present and self adhesive are the dials likewise. .
The in-laminated paper speedometer dials could nnot be mounted unfortunately after the guidance. 3 assembly variants to the selection! Which was now the correct for this car? Third even offerd to cut the dials completely from down so that one does not have to dismantle the pointers!
Those HEIZ dials are substantially more expensively, howeverier ...............judge you. Hre we cannot pass further judgement upon our own products.
This “speedometer dials” frightened us however somewhat, since that can really make at the domestic PC for everyone. In addition we would like decide to lrt here it........
I for my part think:
I woll not risk ot to rob from me with any cheap foils the insurance protection of the vehicle since they are not felt possibly with the TÜV or of the police as traffic suited.
I paid some 1000 euro for the tuning at my vehicle (Ford focus). Of 17 tariff rins over chrome interior equipment, tail lamps, spoiler, chassis and so on. The I will not save also with my next car to it, on which I look while driving at most, at day, like also at night: On my dials in the speedometer!

Those HEIZ dials convince with a full red transillumination, which 100% do not precipitate evenly, dut nevertheless absolutely to the satisfaction. Also the pointers shine as used. By the rear red layer of the speedometer the pointers shine somewhat yellowish...
The word transillumination gets here a completely new meaning. The paper structure is exactly recognizable. The transillumination is unfortunatelly extremely uneven and all places, which are not intended for transillumination with this modell, remains completely in the dark. With the dials would not exist probably!

In front an important note to speedometer foils, to which you do not have to give an attention if you acquired a product of our house, since our speedometer all necessary requirements becomes fair to dials in vehicles, which are certified in the traffic :
Speedometer foil arepermissible only then in the vehicle and do not lead only then not to a negative TÜV report if the following conditions are fulfelled, how at night as the accurare scaling with the TÜV special attention is dedicated to the transillumination and readability!
